In this workshop, participants will investigate the impact of bias and ways that implicit bias can be disrupted to build an environment conducive to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Throughout this session, participants will:
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of implicit bias and its characteristics;
  • Recognize how implicit bias manifests at both the individual and organizational levels;
  • Reflect on their own socialization and how it impacts their work; and,
  • Review practices to address and confront implicit bias.
